Meanwhile, I've prepared the review for you: I've just returned from a fantastic trip to Mongolia, where I not only enjoyed magnificent landscapes – from the endless steppes to the Gobi Desert, from the clear skies to the deepest silences... and the whistling wind! – but also the heart of this land and its people. All this was possible thanks to our guide, Mughy, of Italian origin (she helped us a lot as an interpreter since not many people we met outside the capital Ulaanbaatar knew English), always kind, patient, and helpful. She loves her country and shares it with passion and sensitivity. Her competence as a guide and as a local allowed us to enjoy the best experiences, which will remain among the most beautiful memories of the trip: life stories, evenings spent together, shared emotions in the presence of spectacular sunsets and unimaginable spaces. Everything was extraordinarily intense, human, wild, and deeply enriching. Mongolia is a country that gets into your soul. Mass tourism is still far away here, and it's the perfect place for those who want to experience a trip in full contact with nature and with people with a culture and traditions that are thousands of years old (it's no coincidence that we all know Genghis Khan...!! :) ). I recommend that all people with a certain sensitivity and who choose sustainable and authentic trips visit Mongolia and do so with Mughy: she will take you to truly see and feel this incredible country.

Mughy is the cheerful, strong, robust, and self-assured young man who welcomed us as soon as we arrived in Mongolia. He speaks perfect Italian and knows our country well, having lived there for years. He guided us on a nine-day tour (far too short!) of Southern Mongolia and the wonderful Gobi region, crossing boundless steppes, immense grasslands, valleys and mountains of rare beauty, and visiting fascinating archaeological sites and excellent museums. And, importantly, he put us in contact with the local people and the nomadic population. He ensured we received every kind of attention during our travels (in excellent Toyota Land Cruisers, equipped with every comfort and driven by expert, kind, and attentive drivers), during our overnight stays in the best tented camps, and in recommending typical and delicious local food. Furthermore, he did everything to make us have fun and to fulfill all our "tourist" desires, giving comprehensive answers to our countless questions. He was there for us in everything, with professionalism and commitment, and moreover, with his overwhelming friendliness, he fostered cohesion and camaraderie within the group we were part of. In short, he presented his country to us in the best possible way, so much so that we have wonderful memories of it and intend to return as soon as possible to visit – always with him – the many wonders we have yet to see.
